ALBUM COVER DESIGN, We were tasked to create an album cover design for an album/song/video game OST of our choosing and to apply it into a mockup.
PROCESS, Initially, I was meant to make an album design of The Stanley Parable OST as it is a favorite game of mine, but as I sat down to actually do my work, I was listening to Me & Mr Wolf from the album: Songs for The Last Werewolf by The Real Tuesday Weld. In the end, I ended up making a design for the album instead, inspired from zoetrope-styled vinyls (similar to Glass Animals vinyls) and taking even more inspiration from old cartoon run cycles and artstyles to create the concept. I decided to apply the run cycle because in the MV the wolf is chasing the lady, but in the end it appeared as if the lady is the real "wolf" in the situation (based on the lyrics). It would look like they're chasing each other as the vinyl spins, not only that, I made the lady's design + pose akin to the wolf's (i.e. her hair and her pose) but I also gave her curls because it makes her look "innocent". Overall, one of my top favorite tasks.

BOOK COVER REDESIGN, We were tasked to redesign a book cover of our choosing.
PROCESS, I had ended up choosing to do a redesign for one of my favorite books and series (on Amazon Prime), Good Omens, a story of an angel and a demon and the coming End of the World. I was around 13 y.o. when I got into Good Omens and till now, it's still my favorite stories. I decided to use their silhouettes for the front and the back, and reminiscent to past book covers, it could easily be interchanged with Crowley (Red) on the front and Aziraphale (Blue) on the back. I also have this thought wherein when you open the book, they face each other but they both inherently have different views and beliefs that become apparent in S2 of the series, but once you close the book, they never see eye-to-eye.

MAGAZINE COVER DESIGN, We were tasked to make our own magazine cover with any subject and theme in mind, including articles of our own concept.
PROCESS, It had been a long while since I last made art of my own indulgence, and of my own characters, so I decided to make a magazine cover of my own original characters: Oliver and Ophelia, two famous idols in the universe I've been wanting to write about. It also includes my own magazine brand within their universe. Concelo is latin for the word 'conceal', and their album 'TÍR-ON-ME' is an anagram of the latin word mentior meaning 'fake'.

ABSTRACT PORTRAITS, We were tasked to pick a character/muse of our choosing to make an abstract portrait of, implementing this into 3 artboards and progressively making it more and more abstract.
PROCESS, The character I had chosen was Nikolai Gogol from Bungou Stray Dogs, one of my favorite animes of all time. This was around the time I was first starting to familiarize myself when using Adobe programs. It started with making vector outlines of the figure and soon I learned how to warp shapes and make a figure and composition that looks pleasing to the eyes. It's one of my proudest pieces, specifically the main image displayed.

NATIONAL BOOKSTORE REBRAND, We were tasked to create a logo rebrand for National Bookstore which also included creating mockups for a business card and some merchandise and packaging.
PROCESS, The idea I had was to utilize the "bookstore" aspect of the brand and create a logo that depicts a shelf of books; the N has 3 books, (2) standing and (1) in between that leans to form the N, B and S are books stacked on top of each other to give the illusion of its respective letter.
